In October of 2013, we purchased some undeveloped acreage in Harnett county NC for a recreational escape.  Little did we realize the opportunities for personal growth and intellectual stimulation that would be presented to us.  This blog is an attempt to catalog some of our experiences.  This is my first attempt at blogging and I am sure it will be amateurish at first, but is yet another activity motivated by the land acquisition! I will share some of our decision-making and some of our trials & tribulations. Some of our joys, and some of our angst. Perhaps this will help some with their personal ventures into land ownership and help others to understand what we have been up to.
